Customer Service Award Retail Sector (Multiple Retailer)

Shoppers are consistently demanding a higher level of service from their retailers and expect a sophisticated store environment. To win this award, multiple retailers must prove that they are focused on their customer's individual needs through their product offering, customer service and store environment.

Who Should Apply?

Applications are invited from multiple retailing companies. A multiple retailer will be viewed as a company with four or more branches throughout Northern Ireland.

How will the award be judged?

Applicants will be assessed in two stages.

Stage One: Written submission due by 5pm on Thursday 31st March 2011 to Coleraine Borough Business Awards, Coleraine Borough Chamber, 2 Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1DS.

Provide an outline of your business. Who is your customer base and what makes your business special (max 500 words)
Describe your customer care plan and detail how you train and support staff to deliver excellent customer service (max 500 words)

Stage Two: This category will also be judged by Mystery Shoppers who will assess

First Impressions.
Acknowledgement and Greeting.
Customer Care.
General Interaction with the Customer.
Meeting/Exceeding Customer Expectations.
General Retail Standards.
Store Services.

Mystery shopping visits will be conducted during April 2011
